Sarah Bolger was born in Dublin on 28 February 1991 to butcher Derek Bolger and his wife Monica. She also has a younger sister, actress Bolger, Emma (born January 5, 1996). She attended the Young People’s Theatre School in Dublin and Loreto High School.
In 2003, she starred with her sister Emma in the Jim Sheridan film “in America”, where she played a ten-year-old Christy, who, along with her sister Ariel (Emma Bolger), helps her parents save the family from collapse. In 2006, she was the partner of Alex Pettifer in the film “thunderbolt” as Sabina. From 2008 to 2010, she played Princess Mary, the eldest daughter of Henry VIII in the TV series the Tudors. Also released in 2008 was a film adaptation of a series of children’s books with her participation “Spiderwick: Chronicles”, where she had the role of Mallory grace.
In may 2010, Sarah joined Lily Cole and Scott Speedman in the Mary Harron project “the Moth Diaries” based on the short story by Rachel Klein. She will play a student Rebecca, who suspects the new girl (Cole) of vampirism.
At the end of 2011, Steven Spielberg’s mystery series “Lock and key” based on a series of books by Joe hill (son of Stephen king) with Sarah as Kinsey lock was shown. Also preparing to shoot the film “Starbright” directed by Francesco Lucente, where Borger is selected for the role of Pamela.
