Actress Rachel Weisz was born on March 7, 1970 in a Jewish family. Parents fled to the UK to escape Nazi persecution. The future actress’s ancestors lived in Italy, Hungary, and Austria. Rachel was born and raised in London. The family of the inventor George Weiss and his wife, the psychoanalyst Edith root, had two children.
